Privacy

Last updated 24 October 2026

This notice covers this website, ubasti.co, and emails you send us. Each of our apps will have its own privacy notice, in the app and on its website.

Who we are

Ubasti Ltd, company number 17514042, registered office 2nd Floor College House, 17 King Edwards Road, Ruislip, London, HA4 7AE. We decide what happens to the information described here. Write to privacy@ubasti.co with any question about it.

What this website collects

No cookies. There are no adverts, no social media buttons and no forms. The only thing this site ever saves on your device is your choice not to be counted, if you use the button below.

We count visits. Cloudflare Web Analytics tells us how many people visit, which pages they look at, which site sent them, roughly where in the world they are and what kind of browser and device they use. To do this, a small script reads details such as the page address, screen size and how fast the page loaded. Cloudflare says it uses no cookies and doesn't identify individuals from their IP address or browser. We see totals, not people. Cloudflare keeps these figures for up to 6 months. After the first few days, what we see is based on a sample.

You can stop the counting. Our visit counter skips browsers set to send a Global Privacy Control signal (a setting in some browsers that asks websites not to track you), and browsers with JavaScript switched off.

Our host sees what every website's host sees. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers receive your IP address and browser details in order to send you the page and protect the site from attack. Cloudflare does this, and the counting, on our behalf under a data protection contract with us. It keeps these records only as long as it needs to deliver and protect the site. We can see totals drawn from them, such as how many requests came from each country, but never the records themselves.

We rely on our legitimate interests here: running a website that works, stays safe and keeps getting better.

If you email us

We use your name, email address and what you write to reply to you. We rely on our legitimate interests in answering you. Microsoft runs our email for us. We keep emails for up to 2 years after our last exchange, unless we need them for longer to deal with a legal claim. We won't add you to a mailing list, and we only pass on what you send us if the law requires it.

Where it's kept

Cloudflare and Microsoft are American companies, so some of this information may be handled in the United States. Both have signed up to the UK–US data bridge, and their agreements with us include the contract terms UK law approves for sending data abroad. Write to privacy@ubasti.co if you'd like a copy of those terms.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to limit how we use it. Write to privacy@ubasti.co and we'll reply within a month.

You can object at any time to how we use your information. For visit counting, use the button above. For anything else, write to privacy@ubasti.co and we'll stop, unless we need to keep something to deal with a legal claim.

You don't have to give us anything to use this website. If you email us, we need your email address to reply. We don't make decisions about you by automated means.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us at privacy@ubasti.co. We'll confirm we've got your complaint within 30 days and tell you what we've done about it as soon as we can.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. We'd like the chance to put things right first, but you don't have to come to us first.

Changes

If this notice changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
